Friday, April 19th:
Stations of the Cross from 8:30am-6:00pm at FUMC (self-directed)
Also known as “The Way of the Cross”, depicting images or scenes where Jesus walked on the day he was crucified.  The purpose is to help the followers of Jesus take a spiritual pilgrimage through the story of Christ’s passion, reflecting on each piece of the story, as they prepare for the joy of Easter morning.  Traditional “Stations of the Cross” have 14 different scenes at which a pilgrim walking the stations would stop and pray.  While we will not have 14 stations, the walk will be very meaningful for those who come.  There will be a description of the scene, prayers and something to do at each station.
The walk is self-directed, so that all may walk it at a time and pace that fits them best.  The “Stations of the Cross” will be open and available from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Easter Sunday, April 21st:
Sunrise Service shared at United Church of Christ at 7:00am
Easter Services at 8:30am and 11:00am at FUMC

Church-Wide Lenten Study

For Lent this year, we will be offering an all church study. This is an opportunity for any small group to join in studying the book Final Words by Adam Hamilton. We invite small groups to still meet during the regular times and regular location, but in having multiple groups study the same material we can discover greater unity in the church and a deeper understanding of our faith. This is also a great time for individuals to join a small group or to read the material themselves. We will also have a sermon series based off of the book during Lent.
