HUMAN RELATIONS DAY OFFERING — JANUARY 14 & 15

Each of us is made in the image of God. Still, we live in a world torn apart by racial hatred and injustice and violence. United Methodists observe annually Human Relations Day as just one way to emphasize and demonstrate our desire to heal the divisions resulting from racist attitudes and to proclaim a message of unity for all humankind. On this day, every church member is encouraged to stop and say a prayer for healing of racial strife and to covenant with God to do his or her own part in bringing peace to this world.
