Sunday January 19th is known across United Methodism as “Human Relations Day”.  The purpose of this day is to call the Church to recognize the right of all God’s children in realizing their potential as human beings in relationship with each other.  The Human Relations Day offering supports neighborhood ministries through Community Developers, community advocacy in the United States and Puerto Rico through United Methodist Voluntary Services, and work with at-risk individuals through the Youth Offender Rehabilitation Program.  Here at FUMC we will be taking a special offering on Sunday to support these ministries.
