The joy of Christian discipleship is most fully experienced and expressed through an active membership in the church! Let the church know of your interest in membership by (1.) calling the church office at 232-2750, or (2.) visiting a worship service and writing a note on the ritual of friendship pad or speaking to one of the pastors.
Visitors who attend three or more Sundays are placed on a potential member list. They are invited to attend a “new member coffee,” a conversation time with one of the pastors and other church leaders that, during the program year, is held once a month on Sunday mornings between worship services. This conversation time is an opportunity for the sharing of information regarding the church and answering any questions about membership.
Church membership vows include supporting the church by one’s prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. To be a church member it is desired that one is in a personal relationship with Christ and seeks to grow in faith and grace. Church members will be encouraged to always build their lives upon Jesus’ great commandment of “loving God and loving neighbor.” They will be encouraged to be actively involved in Matthew 25 ministries for the sake of the Gospel.
