The Iowa chapter of Christians Engaged in Faith Formation (Iowa CEF-formally known as Christian Educators Fellowship) is excited to bring Mark Burrows to Ames, IA at First United Methodist Church. Mark is the Director of Children’s Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He is very well-known among Christian educators for his incredible energy and contagious enthusiasm in Christian education.

The conference will begin Friday evening, April 22 at 6:30pm with dessert and a more informal discussion with Mark where he will give some great tips to those involved in Christian education. Saturday, April 23, Mark will lead fun and uplifting worships, discuss ways we can involve children in worship more, how we can learn that prayerful and playful aren’t different, and direct us all through uplifting and catchy music that will be perfect to take back to our own congregations.

This workshop is open to people of all Christian faiths, pastors, Christian education directors, volunteers with children and youth, and any others who want to learn more about ways we can get children and families excited about learning and sharing about Jesus.
