This Sunday we will have our annual Blessing of the Back Packs. Students of all ages and teachers are invited to bring their backpacks to worship for a special time of blessing.

Following worship ALL are invited and encouraged to participate in making School Kits for UMCOR. This will take place in the high school classroom and multipurpose room during coffee hour which will also be in that same location this week. We have received many donations of items already but can always use more! See the list below or go to: http://www.umcor.org/UMCOR/Relief-Supplies/Relief-Supply-Kits/School and have the list handy in case you’re out shopping between now and Sunday morning.

Following the UMCOR school kit making, we will have a cookout hosted by the United Methodist Men and an Ice Cream Social hosted by the Christian Education Ministry Team.

Please plan to attend all the events to help celebrate and encourage mission and education at First UMC.
